An IE problem IS a windows problem due to how ie/windows is architected.  You cannot remotely take over a machine with firefox unless you are running as admin.  You CAN take a over a machine if you are running IE even in non-admin mode due to IE being directly integrated into the lowest levels of the operating system.  So Microsoft got this one right..it IS a windows problem because IE is now literally part of the core operating system..it’s no longer just an extension that’s separate from userspace.
