Gmail goes POOF!  While i DO have my business and personal domain accounts in the “cloud” i back them up from time to time.  I don’t have my own mailserver at the moment(no space/power/bandwidth) which is why I use Google’s Free Apps.  Google’s failure here extends to PAID customers as well.  That’s the telling part.  Google thought they could run both free and paid on the same system.  That’s been proven to be incorrect.  Maybe Google will split clients up now?

This isn’t the first high profile failure of cloud mail…Microsoft had a big one when they acquired the sidekick’s maker and it blew up.
