Google I said they’re going to in support and they’re specifically targeting you block origin. That’s mainly because you block origin is excellent at blocking ads including ones embedded in YouTube videos which Google absolutely detests. Google is also recently said that they are going to continue using third party cookies. Of course we all know why they’re doing that because of double click they want to be able to keep using third party cookies for their advertising revenue. Every time Google says they’re doing something to reduce ad tracking and increase security they’re usually doing it to increase their own revenue and limiting it for other people. More than 5 years ago I switched to Firefox for this very reason. Too many things Google was doing has nothing to do with security or privacy but maintaining their own advertising network. I don’t blame them for that that’s how they make most of their money. But I don’t feel like being tracked everywhere and at least in Firefox you can turn third party cookies off. At least in Firefox you can block the vast majority of the ads on the internet and only turn it on for the sites that you wish to display their ads. You block originally allowed you to do this. My problem is is those ad servers are notoriously insecure and are one of the greatest attack vectors on the internet. So I’ve used been using Firefox for quite some time and have no intention of looking back to Chrome or edge. Edge is Chrome with a Microsoft wrapper so what Chrome does Edge does don’t forget that.
