ETC Maryland Further Enhances VPS Products for Transitioning Clients
July 13, 2026 – Following our July 10th announcement regarding our transition to an exclusively Virtual Private Server (VPS) infrastructure, ETC Maryland is excited to share an immediate enhancement to our product lineup.
To better serve our users, we are reorganizing our entry-level VPS tiers. The product originally introduced as the VPS Nano is being renamed to the VPS Quantum. This tier represents the ideal choice for small businesses that are just getting started and want the security benefits of ETC Maryland’s isolated VPS infrastructure without being locked into a proprietary system.
Simultaneously, we are introducing a new, more robust VPS Nano tier. As part of our upcoming 12-month migration plan, all existing Shared Hosting clients—who were initially slated to move to the original Nano tier—will now be transitioned to this newly upgraded VPS Nano environment. This means our transitioning clients will receive even greater resource allocations than initially announced, including increased CPU, RAM, disk space, runtime, and data transfer limits.
Consistent with our commitment to maximizing value while reigning in costs, this enhancement continues our tradition of never leaving current clients behind. By upgrading the destination tier for our shared hosting migration, we are delivering an even higher standard of performance and reliability at no additional charge.
